After a long and tough battle of seven games against the Indian Pacers, the Thunder have secured their first NBA Finals Championship title. Shai-Gilgeous Alexander was awarded Finals MVP, Alex Caruso secured his second NBA Finals Championship title, and the Thunder franchise have acquired their first Finals Trophy. Some say it was a well deserved win. Other say that this championship was an unfair win due to Tyrese Haliburton's injury in the middle of game seven.

The Pacers star suffered one of the gravest injuries in NBA Finals history. Haliburton suffered an emotional moment as he tore his Achilles in the final battle against OKC. The realization of Indiana most likely losing in game seven, as well as Haliburton sitting out for the entire next season, is a heavy weight to endure when you're just a stretch away from winning a championship.

In all, history has been made on behalf of OKC and Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. Oklahoma fans are consumed with joy while Indiana fans are upset and conflicted over Haliburton's shocking injury. Was OKC's win an easy battle without Haliburton?
